Recurring corrosion indicates that the earlier treatment may not have addressed all relevant damage or exposure. A temporary improvement after cleaning is not proof of a lasting electrical repair.
Keep the previous repair method
Record what was cleaned, which products were used and whether terminals or seals were replaced. Tell the workshop how long the improvement lasted and what weather or use preceded recurrence.
The technician should assess the connector’s condition and source of contamination using the appropriate repair information. Do not add grease or sealant indiscriminately. An electronics enquiry should include both the recurring connection issue and module symptoms, allowing the specialist to judge whether internal work would be premature while the vehicle-side cause remains unresolved.
