A workshop result and the customer’s normal vehicle setup may differ if accessories were absent during testing. Record that difference before concluding the repair has failed.
Compare the complete setup
List chargers, diagnostic dongles, cameras and other connected equipment. State when each was reconnected and when the symptom returned. Do not bypass protective functions or keep using an overheating accessory to reproduce the event.
Ask the workshop whether a controlled comparison is appropriate. The accessory may be relevant, but its presence alone does not prove causation. A useful report connects the change to repeatable evidence and checks the installation, helping distinguish an unresolved vehicle fault from a condition missing during the original assessment.
