A wheel-speed value that disappears only during steering or cornering should be reported with the test conditions. A reading on a scanner is an observation, not yet proof of a failed ABS controller. Wiring movement, installation and the sensing arrangement may all be relevant.
Keep the test context
Identify the wheel, direction of turn and whether the result was captured on a safe controlled test. Preserve the original log with units and time scale. Include any recent work near the wheel or suspension and whether a fault code names the same corner.
A workshop should compare the signal evidence with physical inspection and vehicle-specific information. Do not pull or stretch wiring to recreate the problem, and do not disconnect safety systems for a road test. If the complaint includes unexpected braking or stability intervention, discuss recovery. A clear description of when the signal changes helps narrow the investigation without replacing unrelated parts first.
