An unchanged displayed version after a programming operation needs interpretation of what the tool actually performed. It may have written the same version, updated a different region or reported a result that needs further verification.
Keep the operation log
Record selected function, target identification and completion message. Ask the provider which identifiers were expected to change. Do not repeat the write simply to force a new number onto the screen.
The technician should verify the intended outcome through the supported procedure and actual vehicle behaviour. If the original fault persists, include that separately. A success message alone is not a complete repair result, but an unchanged version alone is not proof that no valid operation occurred.
