Successful charging at a lower selected current does not prove the vehicle and installation are healthy at every supported operating point. Record which equipment and settings were used for both attempts.
Compare controlled conditions
Include starting charge percentage, session duration, temperature and any warning. Different chargers may also have different capabilities, so a comparison needs more detail than their advertised maximum power. Do not repeatedly raise the setting after protective interruptions.
An installer should assess fixed-equipment concerns; a vehicle specialist can assess vehicle-side evidence. Lowering a user setting may alter the symptom but does not identify its cause. Provide both logs and ask which measurements distinguish a supply limitation from a connection or onboard charging problem.
