An electronic scan reports what covered controllers communicate. It cannot document every physical repair or independently establish the condition of all safety components.
How to approach the assessment
Ask for the body, restraint, electrical and calibration records relevant to the actual damage. The completion paperwork should state what was checked and what was outside scope. Avoid presenting a scan with no faults as a universal certificate for the repaired vehicle.
