A restart triggered by phone connection needs the phone, cable and connection method recorded. It does not automatically identify an internal head-unit fault.
Compare supported connection routes
State whether the problem occurs through USB, Bluetooth or wireless projection, and whether another compatible device behaves differently. Record vehicle and phone software versions and recent updates. Avoid sharing personal messages or contacts in diagnostic screenshots.
Use only normal user settings and manufacturer troubleshooting. Do not install unofficial firmware as a first response. If the fault persists, send the exact sequence and any error. The workshop can then distinguish an accessory or compatibility issue from a vehicle supply, software or hardware problem.
