Bluetooth Calls Work but Music Will Not Play

Phone calls and media playback can use different settings and supported functions. Working calls do not prove that the selected media route and permissions are correct.

Check the source selection

Record the chosen audio source, phone output and whether other music sources work. Use the vehicle and phone’s ordinary controls to check the intended connection. Note whether the problem affects one phone or every compatible phone tried.

If normal setup does not explain it, provide device and software details. Do not replace an amplifier because one media route is silent. A workshop should separate source selection and compatibility from a genuine audio-path fault, using a reproducible comparison without exposing personal account information.
