Both observations belong in the same enquiry, but one does not prove the cause of the other. Record which adjustments fail and whether the warning changes. Avoid disturbing under-seat wiring; qualified assessment is needed.

Before arranging work
An SRS warning deserves qualified assessment. Do not probe deployment circuits, fit bypass devices or suppress the lamp. A controller operation alone cannot establish the condition of belts, airbags, sensors and wiring elsewhere on the vehicle.
