A sliding door that appears shut may not be reporting the expected status. Record whether central locking works and whether the warning changes when the door is operated normally.
Keep alignment and electrical history
Include latch, roller, body or wiring work. Do not bridge a door-status circuit to silence the warning. A technician should assess the physical closure and relevant input rather than assuming a body controller fault.
If the door is not securely latched, do not drive. For an enquiry, describe whether the warning is constant or movement-related and whether interior lights or alarms also respond. Those comparisons help separate a local closure issue from a broader locking or electrical problem.
