Keeping diagnostic records for an EV battery warranty enquiry

Before authorising battery work elsewhere, check the existing warranty or service-provider process for the vehicle. Requirements and coverage vary, so a general online statement cannot determine whether a particular repair is covered.

Keep the original records

Save warnings, diagnostic reports, servicing evidence and the date the problem began. Ask the responsible provider what assessment it requires before components are opened or modified. Do not discard removed parts or erase useful data while the route is being agreed.

AXION enquiries should state whether a warranty decision is pending and what work has already been authorised. That helps avoid conflicting assessments or unnecessary duplication. This is a record-preparation guide; the actual coverage and approval decision must come from the relevant provider and contract.
