Restraint faults do not require a recent accident. Electrical faults, prior repairs and component concerns may need investigation even when the vehicle has no known collision history.
How to approach the assessment
Tell the workshop about seat, steering, battery and interior work rather than requesting crash-data clearing by default. The correct enquiry is for SRS diagnosis. A reset-only service may be unrelated to the recorded fault and cannot establish the condition of the whole system.
