A window that reaches the top and then drops back needs its movement described carefully. Do not defeat the protective function or hold objects in the opening to test it. Record whether the problem began after battery, glass, regulator or door work.
Separate movement from convenience settings
Does the glass move smoothly, tilt, slow down or make a noise? Does the symptom occur during one-touch operation, ordinary switch operation or both? Those observations help the assessor decide whether a mechanical issue, learned position or electrical control needs investigation.
Use the correct procedure
Some vehicles have a specified window initialisation process, but it is not interchangeable across models. A relearn should not be used to conceal binding or damage. Ask the workshop to confirm the fitted system and preserve fault information before changing adaptations.
Send AXION the vehicle details and a concise account of the movement. Mention whether the door has been repaired or the glass changed. Agree whether the complete mechanism needs inspection before requesting a module repair. The final repair should include checking normal movement and the applicable protective functions, not simply making the glass reach the top once.
