Parking graphics on the screen do not prove that the camera image path is healthy. Describe whether the display switches modes, shows a black picture, gives an error or retains a frozen image. Record whether the fault occurs every time Reverse is selected.
Preserve the related symptoms
Mention tailgate movement, rear-body repairs, water ingress and any recent camera or display replacement. Include whether other cameras work on a multi-camera system. Those comparisons help define the affected path without identifying a replacement part by themselves.
Identify the equipment version
Factory and aftermarket cameras can use different arrangements. Keep part numbers and installation details, including adapters. A visually matching connector does not prove signal or configuration compatibility. The technician needs the appropriate circuit and system information.
Send AXION the vehicle details, screen behaviour and full fault report to discuss assessment. Do not treat a reversing camera as a substitute for checking surroundings while the fault remains. Ask whether the work concerns wiring, camera electronics, display equipment or configuration, and whether any replacement requires further setup. Retain original components until that route is agreed.
