Misaligned stitched images after camera, mirror or body work need a record of the repair. Identify which view is displaced and whether the raw individual camera views also look abnormal. Do not assume that a software reset will correct physical installation problems.
Confirm the required completion process
The vehicle manufacturer’s instructions determine any setup or calibration requirements. Ask the repairer what procedure was completed and retain the result. Camera position, equipment compatibility and the test environment can matter; a generic calibration claim is not a substitute for the application-specific record.
Keep the enquiry scope clear
AXION can discuss the electronic fault report and whether the requested assessment is supported. A specialist calibration facility or body repairer may be needed for other stages. Confirm that arrangement before booking rather than assuming every diagnostic workshop provides every calibration service.
Provide vehicle details, camera part numbers and the before-and-after symptoms. Use direct observation for manoeuvring while the system is unreliable. The final repair should be checked according to the vehicle’s procedure; a neat-looking display alone does not establish that all required setup and safety-related work has been completed.
