AXION AUTOMOTIVE · DIDCOT & UK POSTAL ENQUIRIES
Garage & Trade Electronics Support
Technical repair enquiries for independent garages, vehicle specialists and workshops: control modules, complex electrical faults, programming and coding.
A useful extension to your workshop
When a fault crosses several vehicle systems or a suspected module failure needs further assessment, send AXION Automotive the diagnostic evidence already gathered. We support trade enquiries from our Didcot workshop, with UK-wide postal assessment for suitable removed modules.
Our work covers ECU and TCU gearbox electronics, BCM, FRM and SAM body modules, EV and hybrid diagnostic enquiries, programming, coding and module data work. The business is led by a senior electronics and avionics engineer, bringing an electronics-led approach to the investigation.
Send a technical brief, not just a fault-code number
- Vehicle make, model, year, engine or powertrain and registration.
- Module label photographs, manufacturer part numbers and any replacement-unit details.
- A complete scan report showing which controller logged each fault and whether faults return.
- The exact symptoms, operating conditions and relevant customer history.
- Checks already completed, previous parts fitted and programming attempts.
Keep the original scan report and original module. That information helps distinguish a module repair enquiry from a vehicle-side diagnosis, compatibility concern or configuration issue.
Choose the assessment route
Removed module
Contact us before dispatch. We need to confirm the unit, symptoms and requested work. A bench assessment cannot reproduce every fault that occurs only when a module is connected to the complete vehicle.
Complete vehicle
Discuss a Didcot appointment when the fault involves vehicle wiring, communication networks, connected components or EV/hybrid systems. Tell us if the vehicle cannot start or drive.
Replacement modules and programming
Send the original and proposed replacement labels before committing to a donor. Matching a connector or a headline part number is not sufficient to confirm every aspect of compatibility. We will discuss whether repair, data transfer, programming, coding or adaptation is relevant to the job.
Dealer-level functions depend on the vehicle, module, software access and supported procedure. Describe the required outcome and any configuration changes rather than assuming every module can be made plug-and-play.
Keep authorisation and communication clear
Nominate one workshop contact for the enquiry and provide a reference for the vehicle or job. Ask us to confirm the assessment scope, quotation and next step before sending parts. Tell us about deadlines at the outset so availability can be discussed; a turnaround date should be agreed for the actual job.
For immobiliser or key-related work, explain your relationship to the vehicle and be prepared to provide the relevant ownership or customer authorisation information through the agreed process.
Where we support trade enquiries
Our workshop is in Didcot, Oxfordshire. Suitable postal module enquiries are welcome from the Midlands and across the UK. See our coverage page for the distinction between the workshop location and postal service areas.
