A home charging installation may manage available electrical capacity through supported load-control features. A session pausing when other appliances operate needs comparison with the charger’s configuration and event log before vehicle repair is assumed.
Identify the control message
Keep the time, appliance activity and wallbox status. Ask the installer whether the recorded pause matches the intended operation. A car displaying paused charging can be responding to the available supply rather than developing an internal fault.
Do not defeat load management or increase protective ratings. Fixed-installation questions belong with a qualified installer. If the same vehicle fails on other suitable charging equipment, provide those results for automotive assessment. Separate deliberate control behaviour from an unexplained interruption using the actual records.
