Balancing describes management of differences within a battery; it is not a universal cure for deterioration, internal damage or a defective measurement circuit. The term should be explained clearly in any proposed battery service.
Ask what problem was established
Request the evidence, assessment conditions and expected result. A provider should explain what it means by balancing and which faults that process cannot address. Do not attempt pack access or improvised charging of individual sections.
Keep the original symptom and complete report. If the issue is reduced range, unexpected shutdown or a warning, verification should address that complaint rather than only produce a more uniform screenshot. Any high-voltage battery work needs suitable competence, equipment and vehicle-specific procedures.
