DPF Pressure Reading Changes After Hose Replacement

A pressure-sensor reading after hose work must be interpreted with installation and operating conditions. The hoses are part of the measurement path, so the sensor value cannot be considered independently of them.

Keep the work details

Record which connections were disturbed, the parts used and readings before and after the work. A technician should confirm the correct routing and condition using vehicle-specific information. Do not swap hoses experimentally to make the number look reasonable.

If warnings remain, preserve the exact codes rather than immediately replacing the ECU or pressure sensor. The workshop should explain whether it has established a measurement-path fault or a genuine exhaust condition. Verification needs the correct operating state and expected values for the actual system.
