A seat may include restraint-related equipment as well as comfort electronics. Replacing the complete seat introduces identification and configuration questions beyond whether its motors operate.
How to approach the assessment
Provide the original and donor details and ask the collision repairer which components and setup procedures apply. Do not assume that working adjustment controls establish safety-system compatibility. Any SRS warning needs diagnosis in the context of the installed seat.
