The name XENTRY does not mean that every connection method offers identical coverage. Mercedes-Benz describes XENTRY Pass Thru EU for relevant Euro 5 and Euro 6 cars and vans, including battery-electric vehicles, with defined limitations compared with other XENTRY equipment.
Name the operation you need
There is a practical difference between reading a fault, installing a replacement controller and carrying out a software update. Give the workshop the model series, year and module identity, then explain what has already been attempted. Include the complete error from a failed commissioning process.
Do not assume that an interface capable of reading engine codes can perform the requested coding job. The vehicle, communication method, software coverage and authorised account functions must be considered together.
Keep the repair scope clear
If a donor module is involved, retain its label and the original unit. Ask whether the proposed work addresses compatibility, initial startup, coding or an underlying electrical fault. These questions need answers before a session is booked.
AXION can assess suitable Mercedes programming and coding enquiries. We confirm coverage for the exact vehicle and task rather than promising every XENTRY function on every model. A tool-access problem should be distinguished from a vehicle fault so that a controller is not condemned simply because one diagnostic route could not complete the job.
Arrange an assessment
For module programming and coding, send the vehicle details and fault report to AXION. We support enquiries from drivers and garages. Workshop, postal and remote options depend on the job and are confirmed before booking.
