The manufacturer describes a Diagnostic Device Agent, a vehicle interface and history records showing diagnostic activities. Its published overview identifies support for relevant 2017 model-year onward vehicles.
Use the history when work moves between garages
For a difficult programming enquiry, provide the earlier application’s name and outcome. A report of which operation ran is more helpful than saying another garage tried the computer. Keep any controller identification and complete fault report with that history.
Older vehicles and different applications may require a different diagnostic route. Confirm the model year and platform rather than assuming that the newest software name is appropriate for every Jaguar or Land Rover.
Keep network findings separate from coding requests
An unresponsive controller needs a clear explanation of what was checked before programming is proposed. If several modules are missing, send the complete network report. One missing response should not automatically become a parts order for that controller.
