The voltage shown at a bench power supply may differ from the voltage reaching a module through its leads. That difference can grow during a start-up current demand.
What to check next
Measure at the intended load point using an appropriate setup and compare it with the supply indication during the same event. Review lead and connection suitability. Where supported, remote sensing is an instrument feature for addressing this issue, but it must be configured according to the supply instructions.
Useful information for an enquiry
Include the supply model, lead arrangement and voltage at the module during start-up.
Do not simply increase the output voltage to compensate. The module limits and protected test arrangement must be respected.
