An inverter gate-driver supply warning is not a motor-position diagnosis

The electronics that control an inverter’s power switches require their own operating conditions. A warning about that circuitry concerns a different part of the system from a rotor-position signal.

What to check next

Keep the complete inverter fault text and subcodes, then compare the warning with supply and start-up information available through approved diagnostics. A specialist should identify the relevant protection event before deciding whether the motor, driver circuitry or another component needs assessment.

Useful information for an enquiry

Send the full scan and whether the fault occurs at start-up or under a particular operating load.

Inverter internals are not suitable for owner probing. Do not disable protection or repeatedly demand drive power after a serious warning.
