Electronic symptoms following welding need an accurate record of the work and precautions used. The timing is important, but it does not establish which controller, if any, was damaged.
Preserve the workshop history
Record the repair area, disconnected components and when normal vehicle operation was last confirmed. Obtain the repairer’s notes and complete scan. Do not continue trial module replacements without assessing the affected vehicle circuits.
A qualified technician should follow manufacturer information for subsequent diagnosis and any further welding preparation. If safety-related functions are unreliable, arrange recovery. The electronics specialist needs the exposure history and vehicle-side findings before bench work, so potential internal damage is not considered separately from wiring or installation issues created during the same repair.
