How to approach the assessment
Note whether the hesitation occurred from rest, during a steady journey or when the accelerator was reapplied. Road conditions and other interventions matter. Do not recreate a loss of power deliberately on public roads; a workshop should decide how to examine the concern safely.

- Any brief message remembered.
- Whether braking or traction warnings accompanied it.
