After a battery replacement, the paperwork should identify what was fitted and what assessment was performed. A dashboard range estimate alone is not a complete acceptance test for the replacement.
Ask for traceable information
Keep the pack identification, work date, stated condition and applicable warranty terms. Request the installation and verification report from the provider. Avoid assuming a used assembly has the same history or specification as the removed one.
If the vehicle shows warnings or an unexplained change, record the actual symptoms and contact the installer before further modifications. A second specialist needs the original and replacement details to assess compatibility and test scope. Clear records help separate an installation issue, an estimation change and a genuine performance concern.
