A localised wheel-area sound is different from contactor sounds during start-up. Tell the workshop whether steering or direction changes affect it. Avoid putting hands near moving parts or making repeated tight turns to provoke the noise.

Describe a sound or vibration by when it occurs and where it is felt. The electric powertrain is only part of the vehicle. A diagnosis should consider the actual evidence rather than replacing a drive assembly because the car has no conventional engine.
