A fault appearing during rapid charging gives a different operating condition from ordinary driving. Both the thermal demand and system state need to be considered; a normal road test may not reproduce the complaint.
Preserve the charging event
Record station identity, initial charge level, ambient conditions and the warning time. Include whether charging stopped or reduced power. Do not continue repeated sessions after a serious warning to gather more data.
Ask the workshop whether its assessment can reproduce the relevant charging conditions safely. The report should distinguish charger-side limits from vehicle thermal behaviour and state what was actually tested. A cooling message alone cannot identify a battery, pump or inverter as the failed component.
