Fast flashing after a lamp change should be assessed with the fitted part and working lamps identified. A physically compatible bulb or LED assembly may not match the circuit’s intended specification.
Check the replacement history
Record the part number, affected side and whether every indicator illuminates. Include any dashboard message and trailer connection. Do not fit improvised resistors or alter coding just to hide the warning before compatibility is established.
The workshop should inspect the installation and relevant circuit using the correct information. If signalling is unreliable, arrange repair before normal road use. A body module may be reporting an abnormal load rather than causing it, so the replacement lamp and its connections deserve assessment before controller repair is considered.
