Previous internal work is important diagnostic history, not something to hide. Replaced components, altered files or damaged sealing can influence the available assessment and repair route.
Share the prior report
Provide photographs, invoices, original backups and removed parts where available. State what worked before and after the earlier attempt. Do not describe an uncertain modified unit as an untouched original.
The next specialist should explain what can be assessed and any limitations created by missing information. Avoid further cleaning or component swaps before that review. A transparent history can reduce repeated work and helps distinguish the original vehicle fault from a new problem introduced or revealed during previous repairs.
