A cabin fan that stays on, works intermittently or ignores the speed setting needs accurate symptom information. “The air conditioning does not work” can mean no airflow, warm airflow or a control-display problem, which lead to different investigations.
What the component does
A blower regulator controls electrical output to the cabin fan in response to the selected speed or climate-control demand. HELLA lists loss of speed control, no fan operation and a fan continuing to run as possible regulator symptoms. These observations do not identify the failed part on their own.
