Resolve the mismatch
Provide the actual vehicle details and a photograph of the relevant module label if safely accessible. Ask the scanning garage whether the displayed description is a tool-label issue or whether an incorrect diagnostic selection affected the session.
Do not use a procedure merely because it becomes available under another model’s menu. Coding, service functions and interpretations can depend on the correct application. Preserve the original report and any corrected rescan so the difference is clear. An enquiry should explain the mismatch instead of quietly editing the report’s title. Accurate identification is especially important when the next proposed step involves a replacement module or a programming operation.
