A repeated dashboard click when climate settings change may help locate a control or mechanism problem, but sound alone cannot identify a particular actuator. Record which setting triggers it and whether airflow or temperature changes correctly.
Describe timing rather than guessing parts
Does the sound occur at every startup, only at one temperature setting or throughout operation? Note recent dashboard work and whether it began after a battery interruption. An audio recording made while stationary can be useful.
Do not force vents or remove trim around restraint equipment to reach the noise. Ask the workshop to verify the relevant mechanism and feedback before replacing a controller. If a setup procedure is required, it should follow vehicle-specific conditions and be checked against the original symptom afterwards.
