A long-duration display can compress a short event until it is difficult to see. The absence of an obvious dip on a screenshot does not always establish that a supply remained stable throughout the fault.
Retain the original capture
Ask for the data file, time scale and event marker rather than only a printed overview. The technician should choose acquisition and viewing settings appropriate to the question being tested.
A closer view is useful only if the original capture contains the necessary information. Do not invent detail by enlarging a low-resolution screenshot. For an enquiry, explain when the symptom occurred and which circuit was monitored so the specialist can judge whether the capture actually covers the relevant event.
