A successful update to one controller does not automatically complete every related service requirement. The applicable procedure may include additional checks or configuration steps elsewhere in the vehicle.
Follow the complete documented workflow
Ask the workshop which steps were specified and which were completed. Keep the full post-operation scan and any remaining messages. Do not assume that every new code requires another software update.
The technician should distinguish expected setup requirements from unrelated faults. If a second operation is proposed, request a clear reason and compatibility check. Verification should cover the original complaint and affected functions, with outstanding work stated explicitly so the customer does not interpret one successful programming screen as completion of the entire repair.
