Adaptation data can be useful, but a large-looking number is not a universal wear measurement. The parameter definition and applicable limits depend on the transmission and software.
Preserve the original report
Keep the gearbox identity, units and operating conditions. Ask which manufacturer information supports interpretation of the value. Do not compare unrelated gearboxes or reset the values simply to make them appear closer to an online example.
The assessment should connect adaptations to the actual shift complaint and supporting tests. A reset may remove useful baseline information without repairing anything. If setup is legitimately required after work, the report should state why and verify the relevant behaviour afterwards.
