Battery work is useful context when a restraint warning changes, but timing does not establish that the battery was the only cause. Preserve the original report where possible.
How to approach the assessment
Describe whether the warning was already present and whether other systems also reported faults. The workshop should assess the current SRS record with the repair history. A normal start after battery replacement does not confirm that the restraint system is functioning correctly.
