A system may report a problem with its monitoring function as well as report low insulation. Those messages need to be distinguished so the diagnostic result itself can be trusted.
How to narrow it down
Preserve the exact wording and supporting codes. A qualified technician should establish whether the monitor completed its checks and whether its reported measurement is valid. The correct vehicle procedure then determines how the wider high-voltage system is assessed.
What to include with the fault report
Send the full scan and the point at which the warning appears during start-up or charging.
Neither type of warning should be bypassed. Do not disconnect protective monitoring to make the vehicle ready or allow charging.
Speak to AXION
For EV and hybrid diagnostic assessment, send your vehicle details and fault report. Workshop assessment is in Didcot, Oxfordshire. Suitable postal or remote work is confirmed before booking.
