An inductive load does not make its current follow every voltage transition instantly. A PWM voltage trace and the corresponding current trace therefore describe different aspects of operation.
What to check next
Review both measurements together using the correct reference and scale. Identify the commanded current behaviour and the circuit’s current-decay path. A technician should avoid treating every off portion of the voltage waveform as an instant loss of solenoid force.
Useful information for an enquiry
Include synchronised voltage and current recordings where available.
The exact behaviour depends on the driver and load. A generic PWM percentage cannot establish the resulting mechanical action.
