EV charging power and battery charging current are not the same measurement

Power is measured in watts or kilowatts; current is measured in amperes. The voltage and measurement point matter when comparing charging figures from different screens.

How to narrow it down

Keep the original units and identify whether each value describes the supply, charger output or battery. Compare readings taken at the same time and note any vehicle heating or cooling demand. This prevents a normal difference in displayed quantities being described as an electronics failure.

Charging readings describe different parts of the system. Keep the units and measurement time visible in your screenshots.

What to include with the fault report

Send screenshots with units visible and the charging mode in use.

A numerical mismatch between amps and kilowatts is not evidence of a fault. Conversion requires the correct circuit and voltage information.
