An output stage needs the appropriate operating permission as well as a supply. A powered module with an inactive driver is not automatically suffering a failed transistor.

How to narrow it down

Compare the requested function with the driver enable or sleep state using suitable technical information. Check whether the controller intentionally inhibits movement because of position, network or protective conditions. Only then assess the internal drive circuit against the expected command.

What to include with the fault report

Include the function request, relevant live data and all related codes.

Do not force an enable signal to bypass the vehicle’s control logic. The reason for inhibition must be understood.
