Current through a transmission valve is evidence about its electrical operation. It does not directly prove that the required hydraulic pressure or clutch response has been achieved.
Interpreting the evidence
Compare the electrical result with the transmission’s specified pressure and operating checks. Keep temperature, commanded state and mechanical symptom in the same record. This helps avoid repairing a TCU output when the evidence actually requires further hydraulic investigation.
Keep this evidence
Send the transmission identification, code and any pressure-test report.
Hydraulic tests need the correct equipment and procedure. Electrical and hydraulic findings should be reported separately and then interpreted together.
