The KONNWEI KW208 checks 12V starter-battery condition and helps assess starting and charging performance. It displays battery voltage, estimated cold-cranking performance and internal resistance.
Battery coverage
Designed for supported flooded, AGM flat-plate, AGM spiral and GEL lead-acid starter batteries rated 100–2000 CCA. Enter the battery type and the rating printed on its label before testing. The tester takes power from the connected battery.
Workshop checks
- Battery-condition test with voltage and resistance readings.
- Cranking-system test to help assess starting performance.
- Charging-system test on compatible vehicles.
Interpret results alongside the symptoms and vehicle information. A single reading does not identify every battery or alternator fault.
For 12V lead-acid starter batteries only. This is not a lithium battery analyser or an EV traction-battery tester. Do not connect it to high-voltage circuits.
