A new diagnostic message can interrupt an unfinished ISO-TP reception

A receiver may report that an unfinished multi-frame response was interrupted by a new message. The report identifies a sequence problem, not a repairable component by itself.

Interpreting the evidence

Review the traffic before the interruption and check for overlapping requests or a restarted session. Preserve both application and raw CAN logs. A supported tool workflow should be established before repeating an operation that changes module data.

Keep this evidence

Include the request sequence and any concurrent diagnostic connection.

Do not repeatedly send new requests while an earlier programming or diagnostic operation is still unresolved.

Speak to AXION
