One sensor assembly may contain separate pressure and temperature functions. A fault affecting one reading does not automatically explain an abnormal value from the other.

What to check next

Identify the pin assignment and shared connections for the exact assembly. Compare both readings with the vehicle condition and investigate whether they fail together. A shared supply or return issue deserves attention when multiple functions change at once; an isolated fault needs its own evidence.
