Some vehicles intentionally operate ventilation functions after parking, but persistent unexpected running needs comparison with the manual and selected settings. Note whether the behaviour drains the battery or ends after a consistent interval.
Record the shutdown sequence
Include climate settings, remote functions, key position and the time until the fan stops. Do not repeatedly unlock the car while measuring the interval because that may change the operating state.
If operation differs from documented behaviour, provide the record and any scan. Avoid pulling random fuses as a long-term fix. A technician should distinguish an intended request from a control or power-stage fault and verify that any repair addresses both fan operation and the vehicle’s normal parked condition.
