Different tools can label current direction differently. A negative value on one display is not automatically evidence that energy is flowing the wrong way.

Check each parameter’s definition and compare readings during an unambiguous operating event. Keep the original units and sign convention visible in screenshots. This is particularly useful when comparing a charger report with vehicle battery data.

Include the tool name, parameter label and whether the vehicle was charging, parked or driving.

A sign convention must be resolved before drawing conclusions about a sensor, charger or DC/DC converter.
