A displayed percentage increasing after parking does not mean the battery created energy. The indicated value is produced by the vehicle’s estimation system and can change as conditions and information change.
Record the scale and timing
Note the value before parking, rest duration and temperature. Include whether charging occurred, preconditioning was used or an app showed an older figure. Compare the car display with timestamps rather than treating two asynchronous screens as simultaneous measurements.
Small changes and repeated large jumps deserve different enquiries. If the behaviour is new or accompanies shutdowns or warnings, preserve the full diagnostic report. Ask the specialist what evidence can evaluate the estimate and usable energy, rather than requesting a controller reset solely to make the percentage look more consistent.
