A new complaint after paintwork should include what was masked, removed or refitted. Timing is useful evidence, but it does not establish that paint alone caused the electrical fault.
How to approach the assessment
Describe any visible obstruction without probing contacts or applying cleaning chemicals inside the inlet. A physical inspection and the recorded charging messages should guide the assessment. Keep the bodywork invoice so the original repair scope is clear.
